Leverage the benefits of renewable energy with no capital expenditure or physical impact to your assets through off-site solar. Cloudbreak Energy takes care of development, construction, ownership, and operation of the solar arrays, while you receive credit for purchasing the renewable energy generated from our arrays.
Customers can purchase the clean power at a discounted rate and use the Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) towards energy reduction requirements and internal sustainability goals, (e.g., CO Building Performance Standards and Energize Denver) and internal sustainability goals.
Community Solar (CSG) allows individuals or building owners to “subscribe” to a percentage of power produced from one of Cloudbreak’s systems. Once the arrays begin producing energy, customers will receive bill credits from their utility recognizing their purchase of renewable energy.
Multi-family Building Owners:
At Cloudbreak Energy, we empower businesses to embrace sustainability through innovative solar solutions. Our Off-Site Net Metering program is tailored to support corporations in achieving stringent green building performance standards while making a significant impact on their bottom line and contributing to global sustainability efforts.
Businesses can purchase bundled power and Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) from Cloudbreak’s existing projects and apply the renewable energy to a metered location within the utility’s service area. This allows corporations to power individual buildings or entire portfolios across multiple locations with clean energy.
Impact RECs allow your business to align its sustainability goals with social impact investment. By purchasing Cloudbreak’s Impact RECs, offtakers receive Green-e certified Renewable Energy Certificates associated with the supply of clean energy to the grid while also subsidizing renewable energy for Income-Qualified subscribers. Cloudbreak Energy will work with your business to tailor the RECs to best suit your ESG goals.
Submit your contact information and indicated interest below, and we will be in touch to evaluate your needs and provide a tailored solution. Someone will respond to you within 1 business day.
Cloudbreak can size our systems up to 200% of your reasonably expected total average annual electricity consumption.
Yes. We advise that you review the specific terms of your grant, but many building efficiency grants allow for funds to be used towards the acquisition of, or subscription to, renewable energy.
Yes. Cloudbreak’s RECs are Green-e® certified and are created when one megawatt-hour of renewable energy is generated – about the amount of energy it takes to power the average home for one day.
Yes. We will work with you to size the system to match the remaining consumption you would like offset.
